Looking to recycle?

When reuse isn’t possible, we’re passionate about enabling ethical end-of-life recycling for our community. Whangaparāoa Zero Waste Hub is one of 14 Community Recycling Centres in the Auckland Council Resource Recovery Network. We have sorting bins where you can drop off everything from bottle caps and cans to e-waste and batteries. Please note: We cannot accept green waste or household rubbish.

There’s a cost to responsibly managing items that can’t be reused or up-cycled, which is why some charges apply. We aim to keep prices fair while covering the costs of running a community-focused, zero-waste operation — including wages, repairs, compliance, and services.
